90 degree Pin/Spear type landing collars
for use with wireline overshot lifting
dogs. This collar type is common in
surface operations where the survey
system is assembled on the rod rack
and raised up the mast then lowered
into the rods. The new 90 degree locking
spear system allows greater flexibility
when lifting the survey assembly into
the rods. It is also used when it's
necessary to dry-release the survey
system landing at the drill bit. The
double spring shock system ensures
your valuable survey system lands
with minimal shock. |

Ezy Lock Overshot for use with the DHS Landing Collars with spear head
Features:
- Utilizes a spring loaded locking sleeve to positively secure the overshot with survey tool (or inner tube)
- The locking sleeve is rotated by hand to lock or unlock the lifting dogs into position
- Incorporates and added quick release safety pin to guard against worn or fractured lifting dogs
- Holes in the Ely Lock head allow for inspection and cleaning of the lfting dogs
- Available in BQ, NQ, HQ and PQ sizes |
