Electronic Multishot - Inside RC Rods
A cheaper alternative
to Gyro surveying in RC rods is to utilise
2xnon-magnetic drill rods above the hammer
and survey utilising Electronic Multishot
in these rods.
This is particularly useful in poor ground
conditions.
The benefits of the Electronic Multishot in
this technique is its ability to identify
magnetic zones.
The old single shot method is unable to
do this and can lead to guessing the azimuth
and potentially incorrectly positioning
the drill hole.
