HSHA Rate Gyro

The HSHA
Rate Gyro is not affected by magnetics.
This means there is no need to run non-magnetic
rods in order to run a steering tool.
Our HSHA rate Gyro will provide accurate
directional data and motor orientation from
inside the drill rods.
As each section is drilled, the HSHA
rate Gyro is run on wireline into the
drill hole providing real-time direcitonal
data as the tool traverses the hole. The
orientation mule shoe sits behind the motor
providing acurate real-time orientation
and allowing heading predicitions.
Our HSHA rate Gyro is usually pulled
out of the rod string as the next section
of the hole is drilled.
Technically it is not a steering tool sitting
behind the bit while drilling, rather the
HSHA rate Gyro shows where you have
drilled. Software allows us to predict the
heading. |
