Electronic Multishot - HOW IT WORKS
The Electronic Multishot is one of the most sophisticated
systems currently available.
It boasts a 10 year battery life, without
the need of a single charge and uses radio
transmitter communication. This all adds
up to a very reliable, field-proven system.
The Electronic Multishot is a solid
state magnetic based instrument measuring
the earths magnetic field strength and dip
direction through triaxial fluxgate magnetometers.
The earths gravity force is measured by
triaxl servo accelerometers capable of withstanding
high shock rating.
Outline
Measures seven parameters simultaneously
and accurately.
- Azimuth (Direction) from 0-360º, accurate
to ± 0.3º
- Inclination (Dip) from 0-360º to within
± 0.2º
- Toolface (Gravity) from 0-360º, ± 0.2º
- Toolface (Magnetic) from 0-360º, ± 0.3º
- Total Magnetic Field from 0-100 000nT,
accurate to ± 50nT
- Magnetic Dip from -90º from horizontal,
within ± 0.3º
- Tool Temperature (hole temperature) from
-40ºC to +85ºC, accurate to ± 1ºC
In addition, at each measuring station,
SensIT records survey time, survey
date, and preset survey header details.
Set the measurement delay or intervals you
need
- SingleSmart - from 1-1440 minutes
(24hr).
- Electronic Multishot - measurement intervals
from 5-120 sec.
Powered for long trouble-free service by
an internal Lithium MDX battery pack with
a typical life of up to 10 years.
More than adequate memory capacity to store
5,000 seven-parameter measurements.
All-climate operation thanks to total operating
temperature range from -20ºC to +85ºC. Specified
measuring accuracy guaranteed within temperature
range 0ºC to +60ºC.
Secure radio transmission of stored measurements
by fast 433MHz radio data link with a 8-10m/25-30ft
range.
Fits inside most commercially available
running gear. DHS running gear and
running gear kits, QT36 and QT38, are approved
for use with the SensIT probe.
Upgradable in the field from SingleSmart
single-shot to Electronic Multishot
system by purchase of a TransIT PC
adaptor, proprietary software,
MeasureIT (for calculation and analysis)
and DisplayIT (for data presentation),
and an encrypted unlocking code to convert
SensIT from single-shot to multi-shot
measuring.
